These gowns are the most inexpensive imitations you can think of! They definitely won't refund your cash! I sent my return all the way to China, and it just came back. Spare yourself a whole lot of hassle - steer clear of this place!

I ordered a size 4 dress with an overskirt, and let me tell you, the fit was all over the map. The halter neck was way too tight, the chest was way too loose, and while the waist fit alright, the overskirt was just too big. I followed their return process, filled out the necessary form on their site, and waited for my return request to get the green light. After about 3-4 days, I got the go-ahead and sent the dress back to the address on the package. They don’t give you any other option for returns. Fast forward about 3 weeks, and I shot them an email asking when I could expect my refund. That’s when I knew something was off. Their first question was, 'Where did you send the dress?!' Seriously? I started looking into it and found a bunch of complaints against them on the BBB for the same issue. Now I'm out $175 plus $75 for shipping both ways, and their responses went from quick to nothing at all. If someone does finally reply, it’s just, 'How can I help you?' Are you kidding me? Just read through our 62 email thread and get a clue about what’s going on! This company is definitely a scam.

The dress appears to be of decent quality overall, although a few beads came loose when I took it out of the package. That didn’t really bother me. However, I received the wrong color, and it doesn’t fit me at all. I’ve reached out via email to arrange a return, but they don’t seem to handle returns. Plus, their response was pretty curt, insisting it’s not their fault I picked the wrong color, which I definitely did not. Now I’m left with a dress that doesn’t fit, even if it had been the right shade. And don’t trust the measurements either; they’re way off. I’m giving this a one-star rating just because that’s the minimum allowed.

I seriously regret ever coming across NC Gowns. I ordered a dress for my mom to wear at my wedding, and when it showed up, it was way too small. I asked for a return authorization, but they told me they don’t do that. Instead, I was instructed to send the item back to China at my own cost and to give them a tracking number. I did what they asked, they got the dress back, and yet I’m still waiting on my refund. I’ve sent them countless emails and talked to Lucy, who assured me my money would be returned. It’s been over two years of trying to get my cash back. They’re not a trustworthy company, and I’d advise everyone to steer clear of them.

Watch out! This company wouldn’t give me a proper return address. The only info I got was on the package, but guess what? That address isn’t real. They tried to make me hold onto the dress and offered to refund just part of what I paid. I contested the charges for two dresses, one of which never showed up, and included all my electronic messages with my credit card. Thankfully, I got a full refund from them.

Beware! This company refused to provide me with a correct return address. The only address (or infor at all) was on the package. But, that address doesn't actually exist.
They wanted me to keep the dress and offered to give me back a portion of the full price of the dress.
I appealed the cost of two dresses, one of which I never received, with my credit card included all electronic communications, and was granted a full refund from them.

I ordered a dress for my son's wedding, thinking it would be perfect for the occasion. It was meant to be red, but what I got was a very pink and super wrinkled mess. The top didn't fit right, even though I measured carefully. When I reached out about returning it, the company dragged their feet and then claimed I took too long to send it back. Terrible product and awful service!

I bought a "special occasion" dress for my son's wedding. The dress was supposed to be red but it arrived very pink and very wrinkled. The top did not fit even thought I had taken measurements. The company stalled when I asked for a return and then told me that I had waited too long to return the dress. Bad product, bad service!

Seriously, don’t get duped by this company. They shipped me junk and refused to give me a return address. Thankfully, my credit union refunded the 400 bucks.

Please Please don't fall pray to this company. They sent me garbage and wouldn't provide the return address. Luckily my credit union reimbursed the 400.00.

Just like another reviewer mentioned, I really ought to have checked the reviews before making my purchase. The dress ended up being way too tight, and honestly, it didn't look as good in real life. The website made it seem like returning items was no big deal as long as you did it within 15 days of getting it. I've sent more than 10 emails trying to get my refund, but they keep dodging my requests for the return info. I'm so frustrated!

Like someone else, I should have read the reviews first before ordering. The dress was too small and I didn't like the look in person. Everything I read on their website didn't seem to indicate any issue with returning as long as it's within the 15 days from receipt. I ordered what seemed like a gorgeous pantsuit online, provided my measurements, and it finally arrived after 6 weeks. Unfortunately, the top was 2 sizes too small while the bottoms were 2 sizes too large! I tried to return it through their online process, but after waiting 2 weeks with no response, I decided to shoot them an email. I explained my issue, but another 2 weeks passed with no reply. So, I emailed them again! This back-and-forth went on for weeks, with them saying it would be too pricey to return it, and then they offered me just $20! Forget that!

I bought a what looked beautiful online, a pantsuit, gave my measurements and it came to me 6 weeks later to be 2 sizes to small on top and 2 sizes too big on bottoms! I went through the return process online and I didn't hear anything for 2 weeks, so I emailed them. Told them my situation. Another 2 weeks goes by without and answer. I emailed again! This continues for a few weeks, telling me it would cost too much to send it back, then they wanna offer me $20! Screw them!

I purchased a dress for $350 and had to wait two months to get it. The quality was awful and the fabric was subpar. It was way too tight! I asked for the return address for weeks but got no reply! They won’t give me my money back! I'm still fighting for a refund after all this time.
